Bird Watching

Bird Watching
Churchill Manitoba is a birders paradise!  Over 250 species of birds nest or pass through Churchill and it's surrounding areas during their annual migrations.

The sub-arctic environment of Churchill provides a healthy habitat for a variety of falcons, hawks, Tundra Swans and Snowy Owls. Birders search for rare species that are spotted annually in Churchill such as Ross's Gulls and Harlequin Ducks.

Talk to your guide or a resident birder for additional information!
