On Sunday, November 8, 2009, the Olympic Torch will pass through Churchill for a relay in honor of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver in February 2010.  In honor of this occassion, the community is invited to join in the weekend long events to celebrate the torch’s arrival into our community.  We look forward to seeing everyone come out to celebrate being a Canadian and better yet a Churchillian!!! Soccer begins Wednesday, November 18th for boys, girls, men & women.  Juniors from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Adults from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.  Drills, Skills, & Small-Sided Games.  To register, contact the Recreation Office at 675-2491.  Coach:  Stephen Terichow Parrot.

The Kindermusic Program will begin on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 3pm to 4pm in the Pioneer Gallery.  The program is designed for children ages newborn to 7 and their parents to interact in a fun and creative way.  For more information, contact Becky Allen at 675-2261
