Only nine days until Churchill’s annual winter festival begins! This year, Aurora Winterfest features local dog sled races, King and Queen Trapper, Poker Derby, Snowmobile races and fireworks. Juggler Robin Chestnutt will also be returning to entertain kids and adults alike. Manitoba country band, C-Weed, hosts a talent show on Friday and community social on Saturday, April 5th.

The Hudson Bay Quest dog sled race will be starting at ‘The Flats’ near the Churchill River on March 29th at 9am. This year, Churchill welcomes 21 teams competing in our very own race from Churchill, Manitoba to Arviat, Nunavut. Good luck to all!
